i just bought an icon P1-nano its awesome it can run 3 daws at the same time! just choose logic with a button or cubase or bitwig plus a choice of dozens of others. not expensive too and 80 buttons on touch you can assign any function too plus 8 encoders that change so you might be using a vst with the knobs or pans or whatever plus similar 1 powered slider you should check them out they have 8 fader ones but same system easily adjusted too a friends uses it in devinci resolove as it allocates 1 bank of the touch buttons to it taps back into logic edits away then taps resolve to contimuing editing his video .. check them out

This feature makes a lot of sense. I've always recorded left and right as 2 mono tracks. I never understood why I would want a track to be recorded as stereo with the old "balance only" pot. Thank you!

Except Apple deliberately DO NOT FIX a lot of BUGS that make it impossible to control a project with a decent size and several tracks, some enabled, some disabled, some grouped. It's just PURE CRAP thanks to Apple deciding not to FIX ANYTHING. Lots of controls that get the wrong visual feedback and some others that mess everything up to madness until you DEEPLY REGRET having used LOGIC REMOTE either in iPhone or iPad against LOGIC PRO in your Mac. It's a PITY that Apple earns enough money just by selling BROKEN TOYS that fail to do what they're supposed to do. Just Marketing. I just decided to write this comment after years trying to used Logic Remote and always regretting it. Good video, good information, bad really BAD APPLE QUALITY.

I dont understand. How would you connect these to a subwoofer? i dont see an output on these monitors to be paired to a sub? how would that process be done with these? i understand that i might not need the sub because there are good enough as is but i would prefer the deep lowend extension.this is whats holding me back from getting these because i would like to add a sub due to the genres I will be mixing.

Actually, I heard much more modern music back in 1957. Along with using these tools, musicians should not forget to study a bit of theory. AI can only help you so far and when you get stuck, you have to have theoretical knowledge to figure things out.

curious, why not m4a instead of mp3? it seems mp3 has been replaced with m4a.

So I’ve got an issue and maybe someone on here could help…I do have Logic Pro 6.something! So I need to convert my tracks to WAV but whenever I do they come out sounding terrible. When I do it as mp3 there is no problem. Could anyone help with the possible issue that might be causing it? Any help greatly appreciated!!

Have that issue but with my microphone! Tried both ways shown in this video but still doesn't work. I have even reinstall drivers of my Apollo Twin and nothing. What could possible have gone wrong? My audio interface detects the microphone, so might not be my audio interface. On the other hand, I have a Pre amp and that also detects my microphone. I have spent hours in this issue. Would be great if could help me please.

Hi, Chris, a little late to the game, here. Very clear and iterative vid, much appreciated. Sadly, my Apple music titles don’t load into the music folder (or any other folder accessable thru Finder) on my Mac Mini. Any idrea how to fix this?

So glad Apple have bought back Chord Track into Logic Pro. I've been using it for years in Cubase Pro and it's great that we now have it plus session players in Logic. Love the new features in Logic Pro 11

The other trick is to make sure the external gear is in bypass (if it has any time delay fx) as that will ensure you get the real delay and its not effected by reverb/delay/whatever

Guys I tried everything but I still have delays 160.7 ms Output using USB Elgato Wave and AirPods Max which I connected with USB. In recordings I selected Low Latency Monitoring Mode as well.

What do I do if logic is not showing me the tracks to my project? Just shows transport buttons

Awesome, Chris! I learned so much about customizing Session Player tracks from this video.

I've seen different reviewers get drastically different results from the AI keyboard player. Personally I don't like it, as a keyboard player myself, but long hard study on all three AI players seems to be in order before deciding on their usefulness. When you first added the keys and they played to your original chord structure, some of those chords should have been minor to fit better. I assume you were just playing power chords with the guitar, and without the third there is no real major or minor except what is implied and expected. A little more work might have allowed you to not delete so many chords and instead focused more on what those chords should really be. Like instead of I think I remember G A B, those really should be G Am G instead playing triads on a piano to better fit.

I’m already enjoying the new session players…..great addition and loving the updated sounds.

Can you tell me why session bass will not acknowledge a pitch shift of a track. Or say an intro uses sound effect as intro into a track...I'm presented with empty bass line no matter where I drag it. And is there anyway of getting session track to create where you need it...instead of snapping left to beginning. You can find examples of what I do by by searching scarry garcia on youtube.
